Companies and their technology innovations need assistance advancing from academic research labs to development and production centres. These entities require integration of both business practices and technical processes to enable lab-to-fab progression. Join the discussion about overcoming R&D challenges and forming strategic partnerships to bridge these gaps.
The Lab2Fab bi-annual meeting provides a platform for industry, academic-based fabrication and characterization centres, and government labs to collaborate in overcoming their R&D challenges. Our goal is to help all parties build their capacity and expertise to increase Canadian competitiveness in manufacturing of microsystems and nanotechnology innovations.
Lab2Fab focuses on building partnerships and cooperation among academic, industry and government stakeholders to achieve high-value outcomes. Organized in cooperation with CMC Microsystems, and featuring many open-access academic based labs across Canada, including the FACT (Fabrication, Assembly, Characterization, Test) Network of service providers, this workshop allows for alignment of industry priorities with academic research and initiatives
